INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT OF JESUÍTIC-GUARANI MISSIONS
BRAZIL / ARGENTINA / PARAGUAY
"7 historic and cultural world heritage and 1 natural world heritage"

1st day) - RECEPTION IN Santo Ângelo
Reception at the airport or bus station in Santo Ângelo. Check-in, hotel.

2nd day) – SANTO ÂNGELO / SÃO MIGUEL DAS MISSÕES
Breakfast. Check-out. Visit to the historical center of Santo Ângelo, including: Angelopolitan Cathedral, portal of 30 missions and Municipal Museum. Time for lunch (not included). Visit to CAARO Sanctuary, where the Jesuit priest Roque Gonzales was martyred and where the source of water is considered miraculous.
In São Miguel das Missões, hotel check-in. Visit to the Archaeological Site of São Miguel Arcanjo - Historical and Cultural World Heritage. Visit to the Missions Museum, next to the Archaeological Site, where is one of the largest and most important public collections of sacred missionary sculptures, as well as architectural fragments and bells of the former Reduction. Visit to the Guarani Indians handicrafts and local artisans. Visit the Mission Water source.
Night: Sound and Light show tells the saga of the Jesuit priests and Guarani Indians, inhabitants of the Missionary Region in XVII and XVIII centuries (48 minutes).

3rd day) - SÃO MIGUEL DAS MISSÕES - BRAZIL /LORETO/ SAN IGNÁCIO / POSADAS – ARGENTINA.
Breakfast, check out. Departure trip to ARGENTINA, taking the ferry crossing, over the Uruguay River, in Porto Xavier / San Javier;
We continue to Nuestra Senor de LORETO, founded in 1610, World Cultural Heritage and one of the most important Jesuit missions, for its great production of yerba mate and for having built the first press. Today it is possible to visit the ruins of that period, the church, the chapel of Loreto, the latrines, reports of the life and death of the Jesuit Antonio Ruiz de Montoya, author of the book "Spiritual Conquest". Lunch in San Ignacio (not included). We continue with a visit to the Jesuit Reduction of San Ignácio Mini – World Cultural Heritage. Night: Spectacle of Sound and Light, near to the Jesuit Reduction of San Ignacio. After, trip to Posadas - Capital of the Province of Misiones, arrival directly to the hotel, check-in. Rest of the day off.

4th day) – SAN IGNÁCIO - ARGENTINA / JESÚS / TRINIDAD - PARAGUAY/FOZ DO IGUAÇU –BRAZIL.
Breakfast. Check-out. Trip to PARAGUAY, crossing the International Bridge of Roque Gonzalez de Santa Cruz. We continue to visit the Jesuit Reduction of Jesus de Tavarengue – World Cultural Heritage. After lunch (not included), we visit the mission of Santíssima Trinidad - Cultural World Heritage. Travel to Foz do Iguaçu - Brazil. Check-in hotel.


5th and 6th Day - FOZ DO IGUAÇU.
2 nights accommodation in Foz do Iguaçu, category 3*** or 4**** according to availability, with breakfast + transfer in / out (airport and bus terminal) + Cataratas Argentinian side (no entrances) + COURTESIES: Bird Park and Dreamland (Wax Museum, Dinosaurs Valley and wonders of the world - No entries). At night: suggestion Latin American dinner show, Rafain steakhouse (not included dinner).
OBS. Flight and bus - departure should be after 4pm to give time to carry out all the tours.

PARAGUAY - AN ADDITIONAL DAY WITH ACCOMMODATION
SAN COSME Y DAMIAN / SANTA MARIA DE FÉ / SAN IGNÁCIO GUAÇU - PARAGUAY.
Visit to the Jesuit Reduction of San Cosme y Damian. It was the main astronomic center of South America, the only primitive church in operation nowadays. Lunch (not included). Then we go to Santa María de Fé, the museum installed in the house of indigenous exhibits in several rooms numerous sacred art images of the Missions. Afterwards, San Ignacio Guazú (1609), the first of the 30 peoples founded by the Jesuits, visits the Diocesan Museum, where a variety of images of the period are staged, and lodging in the present city of San Ignacio.
